Holy Trinity Cathedral participated the fourth year in a row as a site host during the Chicago Architecture Center's Open House Chicago 2018.  The Cathedral was open for tours Saturday, October 13 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Sunday, October 14 from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

It is estimated that over 1,100 people visited the Cathedral for tours during the weekend event.  Volunteers were stationed in the center of the cathedral, near the Tihkvin icon replica, the iconostasis, and shrine to St. John of Chicago, providing history and information to visitors.  Books, CDs and other items from the Cathedral's book store were available for purchase.
