The church school children and families filled 24 backpacks with school supplies on August 12 as part of their Dormition Service Project.  The backpacks will be distributed to Drummond and Skinner North in Chicago to benefit low-income children in grades K-8.

The children collected donations during the month of July and will continue to accept monetary donations through Sunday, August 19.  They plan to purchase gift cards to include in the backpacks.  Checks may be made payable to Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral with “Church school backpacks” written in the memo.
