Dr. Tina Richardson and Dennis Garlick of the Holy Trinity Stewardship Committee conducted the second of three workshops on Stewardship on January 24, 2016.

This workshop continued the discussion of how Holy Trinity is in the process of transitioning from dues and minimum giving to a Stewardship based proportional giving program.  Holy Trinity needs to look at the way we look at our parish differently.  Stewardship IS NOT only about money and donations.  Stewardship is what you do with all of the gifts God gave you.  Important points made included:

1. Stewardship is a way of life.
2. The important first step of stewardship is involving a person or people in the parish.
3. Thre are many, many parish ministries.  What can you be part of?
4. We should all be creating a good account before the awesome judgement seat of Christ."

Those present were urged to pray about how they could serve God's church and to review the list of current and potential parish ministries included on the back of the 2016 Annual Pledge form.  All members are asked to complete and return these forms to the church as soon as possible.
