Mission of Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral:

To preach the fullness of the Gospel of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ;
To bear faithful witness, in Spirit and in Truth, to the worship and Tradition of the Holy Orthodox Church;
To be the means for all who wish to draw closer to Jesus Christ, and one another, in a community of Faith and love;
To be: The Beacon of Orthodoxy in Chicago.

Cathedral’s Kitchen – A food service ministry where people gather weekly on Saturday’s to assist those in need. Volunteer here.

Tours – Tours of the cathedral are given on selected Saturday’s throughout the year. These tours start at 12:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. on those select days. Tours can also be scheduled by appointment.

Church School – HTC offers Sunday classes about the Orthodox faith throughout the school year. In addition to weekly sessions, the church school also engages in outings and service projects.

Tabitha’s Circle – On the first Sunday of every month people come together to knits items for local children’s hospitals and other charities.

Music Ministry – All of our services require both a choir and chanters. If God has blessed you with a gift to sing, getting involved with the choir is a good place to be. Rehearsals are held the third Sunday of the month.

Sunday Fellowship – Every Sunday our community gathers together in the parish hall for fellowship and to welcome visitors. Volunteers are always needed to host “Coffee Hour.”

Food Pantry – Nonperishable items are collected and placed in the pantry outside the rectory building.

Young Adults – Monthly gatherings are held at different location for our 25-35-year-old parishioners. Discussions on the faith are held, along with fellowship.

Education & Bible Study – During the fasting seasons, HTC holds a bible study, or some other educational class on the faith.

"O" Club -  As a club belonging to the Midwest District of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America, the Trinity "O" Club sponsors functions to support the Cathedral and various non-profit organizations.

Russian Classes - Learn a new language.
