Chicago – Father Michael Oleksa speaks on the “Missionary Legacy of the Alaskan Saints” at the Annual St. John Kochurov Lecture Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 1121 N. Leavitt Street.

Fr. Oleksa seeks to foster greater understanding across boundaries of race and culture and is leader in the development of cross-cultural education in Alaska.  He is recognized as an “Elder” by the Alaska Federation of Natives, a Distinguished Public Servant by the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska, and honored by the Alaska State Legislature and the National Governors Association.
