Following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, October 9, 2016, we will have a special viewing of “The Return of the Icon,” which chronicles the return of Our Lady of Tikhvin to Holy Dormition Monastery, Tikhvin, Russia.
In 2004, His Eminence, Metropolitan VLADIMIR, of St. Petersburg, received the icon in order to place her in her home in Tikhvin. This presentation details her return through Riga, Latvia, Moscow, St. Petersburg, coming home to Tikhvin. For those who were not with us for this historic event, it explains the deep love and affection the faithful of Russia have for this miraculous icon.

We will welcome His Grace, Bishop MSTISLAV, who will present a replica of the TIkhvin icon for placement in the Cathedral.
