Mark is a well-known expert in the field of Orthodox liturgical music. He served on the faculty of St. Vladimir’s Seminary for more than 15 years, teaching choral leadership, composition, and voice.

The workshop is going to focus on the role of chant in our Orthodox liturgical experience, i.e. how chant has influenced and continues to influence our liturgical music on the North American Continent. The workshop will be very practical/interactive in nature with much singing. Hopefully it will not only be educational for all but fun as well. All those interested in music and singing are strongly encouraged to attend.
